Baystate Children’s Procedure & Infusion


Hospital visits can be a stressful experience for children. That is why they need hospital spaces designed for their comfort and needs, to ease their minds while being provided state-of-the-art care in facilities such as the Baystate Children’s Hospital.

The new Procedure Suite and Infusion Center at Baystate was designed specifically for the treatment of pediatric patients. The new suite fit-out includes14,000-SF of shell space in the South Wing of the Hospital of the Future. Included in the space are two Procedure Rooms, Pre-Operative and Recovery cubicles, private infusion rooms, a family area, as well as clinical support and staff areas.

The “kid-friendly” space also features innovative color-changing LED decorative lighting in the family and common areas.
