Richard Loveland, a Vice President, has more than 20 years of experience at BVH. Rich has worked on many successful projects for public and private clients throughout the region and across the country. These projects range from Division I Athletics, student recreation centers and classroom buildings to laboratories, office fit-outs, manufacturing facilities and new medical centers.

Devoted to facilitating effective communication and collaboration on each project, Rich’s work ranges from large, design-build institutional projects to complex renovations of specialized spaces.  His recent notable work includes the design of University of Notre Dame’s Campus Crossroads project, a massive series of additions and expansions around the perimeter of the iconic football stadium. The largest building project in the history of Notre Dame, Campus Crossroads features three new buildings totaling 850,000 square feet, and brings academics, athletics, and student life together.

In addition to mountain biking, Rich’s passion outside of the office includes hockey – playing for a men’s league, coaching  youth sports, and watching his son in net for his high school team. Rich also takes an active role in the Hockey Boosters and helps fundraise to provide the best experience for players and parents.
