The CVPH Medical Center, located in Plattsburgh, NY, offers a full range of medical services to their rural community. BVH professionals have done extensive engineering work on multiple sites on the CVPH campus, including:

• Emergency Care Unit addition, involving relocation of site utilities, new HVAC system, parking, drainage and roadway revisions, and commissioning of mechanical systems;

• Essential Power Upgrade covering 500,000 SF;

• Civil engineering services, master plan and design of site utilities and parking for new Central Chiller Plant and additional commissioning;

• Commissioning services for mechanical systems in the renovated Center for Women and Children;

• Commissioning services for mechanical systems in the new, 21,000-SF Ambulatory Surgery and Endoscopy Center;

• Major renovations to an existing nursing floor to create a modern and well-designed Mental Health Unit, including mechanical engineering and commissioning services;

• Commissioning services for the C/T Scan and Diagnostic Imaging Center;

• Commissioning of mechanical systems within the 10,000-SF Renal Dialysis Center;

• Stage II Recovery Suite installation of plumbing, fire protection, medical gas, HVAC, power, lighting, communication and alarm systems;

• Plumbing, power and lighting engineering for hospital business office which was converted from a former Ames retail store;

• New, 5,000 SF additions and 3,000 SF of renovations to Cardiac Cath Lab;

• Replacement of Linear Accelerator; and

• Installation of new outdoor ramp and pad for mobile lithotripsy unit pad.
