Scarborough Surgery Center Scarborough, ME The Maine Medical Center Scarborough Surgery Center, located in one of the more populated areas of Maine, was constructed in 2007 to respond to the growing need in the community for outpatient surgery services. The MMC Scarborough Surgery Center was designed as a freestanding building to allow it to be a convenient, welcoming place, with ample parking and other amenities. The 60,000-SF facility, designated for outpatient surgery procedures, is composed of two levels. The ground floor houses Materials Management, Central Sterilization, and an employee lounge and locker room. The main floor contains ten surgical Operating Rooms, private consultation rooms, private pre- and post-op rooms, and a special recovery area for children. BVH completed civil, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering design for the facility. |
