New Magnet School New Haven, CT This new 80,000-SF urban school serving grades pre-K through 8 is situated between a residential neighborhood and a retail district. The school is a dual-language school with an enrollment of 662 and includes a library media center, gymnasium, cafetorium, classrooms, guidance and support services, as well as community meeting rooms. A plaza on the main street side and play fields are also designated for community use. BVH provided mechanical and electrical engineering services for the building, which was recognized for excellence by the Connecticut Building Congress in June 2009. |
