School of Law Center and Library, Quinnipiac University

Originally located on Quinnipiac University’s Mount Carmel Campus, the School of Law Center is now housed on Quinnipiac’s North Haven Campus integrating the law program with other graduate programs at Quinnipiac. With 200,000 SF of renovations and 25,000 SF in additions, the School of Law Center includes a library, classrooms specifically made for law students, a courtroom, and jury deliberation room.
BVH provided civil, site utility, and MEP/FP design services. Some of the MEP work included a central boiler and chiller plant for the building, along with four custom air-handling units. Additional work included an engineered smoke control system for the three-story atrium in the Grand Nave and main lobby atrium, as well as new power service including an extension of the existing campus primary loop as part of the overall campus infrastructure master plan.
